- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have the best pcp however the people who do the walk in clinic are terrible. I've had one good experience from going to the walk in in three years. And my best friend went in to get tested for strep. Her SO was tested and confirmed as having it and she had high fever and horrible sore throats the nurse practitioner (nurse practitioners do the walk ins) refused to test her for strep saying that she didn't have it and instead tried to force a pelvic exam! The NP said she wanted my sister to have it, she said no test me for strep, and the NP still had the guy come In to do it. Like what even. She literally had to walk out and went to urgent care instead where she, without problem, was tested and later confirmed as having strep.
